This past weekend I ran my first trail race. The Cloudsplitter100 was held on the border of Virginia and Kentucky in central Appalachia on a particularly wet and dismal weekend. Not only did I surprise myself with a 4th place finish in the 50k, but the next morning I got to take some shots of my friend Troy finishing the 100 mile race with an incredible 3rd place result.
